Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the financial operations of the business, overseeing the entire accounting process from start to finish.

The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in office tools, data entry, and Excel. Potential applicants must be organized, detail oriented, and available to work from our office in O’Fallon, Missouri; Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper.

Position Type and Classification: Full-time position/Exempt.

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Location: O’Fallon, MO

Training: In-house training is provided. 

Probation and Orientations Periods: 3 months.

• Maintain and manage the full general ledger.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings.
• Collaborate with external CPA for tax preparation and audits.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Set up and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
• Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and liaison with benefit providers.
• Help track and manage paid time off, sick leave, and other attendance matters.
• Support compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
• Act as a point of contact for basic HR-related employee questions and concerns.

• Experience in Wholesale and Manufacturing Bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of CRM systems.
• Experience working in a small to mid-sized business environment.

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 a year (based on experience and skills). Exempt position

Pay Frequency: Monthly.
