The Warehouse Associate is responsible for storage, picking, assembling, handling, shipping, and control of products being inventoried and sold.
Position: Warehouse Associate.
Position Type and Classification: Full-time position/Non-Exempt.
Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (may be switched to 7:00 am – 3:30 pm during summer heat). Infrequent overtime stays are needed during high season, paid accordingly.
Location: O’Fallon, MO.
Training: In-house training is provided.
Probation and Orientations Periods: 3 months.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of products.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of stock location within the warehouse.
- Receives and puts up/stores materials being inventoried safely and appropriately.
- Participates in warehouse organization. Assists in the general maintenance of the warehouse.
- Records damaged or defective materials and immediately reports them to designated team members for proper handling.
- Product repairs and servicing.
- Inbound and Pre-sale inspection of beverage equipment.
- Assemblies of various products as needed.
- Picks and packs orders for shipping.
- Obtains shipping quotes. Prepares bills of lading for shipment.
- Verifies outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Loads and unloads material from a truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
- Assures proper documentation accompanies all material being loaded onto or unloaded from the truck.
- Greets and interacts with customers cheerfully and helpfully.
- Completes stock checks for the Purchasing Department as requested.
- Reports suspicious activities immediately to a member of the management team.
- Follows all safety requirements and procedures.
- Delivers and picks up merchandise locally as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested or required to complete the job.

- No criminal records and/or drug issues in the past.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer, telephone, printer, and scanner.
- Understands measurements and measurement tools including the use of scales, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially verbally.
- Ability to work well alone and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experienced Forklift Operator.
- One-year experience working in a warehouse environment (general labor roles).
- Technical skills.
- Higher education degree/technical degree.
- Experience using QuickBooks software (or similar).
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places.
- Ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 75 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh over 75 lbs.
- Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay Rate: $14-17/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly.
